| Physical Description | Chiellon has an average build, he's not too short and not too tall. He has short white, with patches of grey, hair and striking radiant blue eyes. His hair used to be somewhat whiter, but El-Aurian males find it extremely hard to maintain their young look as they become older, and Chiellon is no exception. He has the face of a human in his mid forties, but the eyes of a true El-Aurian. The deep pools that reflect timeless wisdom are the only thing giving away his El-Aurian heritage. Chiellon sometimes keeps a thin shaved beard and has some minor scarring on his face, a sentiment reminder of 'the old days'. His skin is lightly tinted, but that's due to endless hours in sickbay plasma-lighting. He could get his figure, face and hair back into shape - and revert it back to a human in his twenties if he really tried; but he can't be bothered with it. |

Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Chiellon's calm, tends to over think things before speaking his mind or taking action. As a true El-Aurian, he's a person to talk with. Chiellon likes to socialize, chit-chat and make small talk in the most bizarre of situations. His calm, at ease nature reflects the peaceful look in his eyes. Chiellon found this to be quite handy as a doctor in his early career. Don't let the looks deceive you, Chiellon was bred for combat and can be a formidable opponent when armed and cornered. Chiellon has all the El-Aurian traits of charisma, wit and mental prowess. He's a excellent reader of emotions and an aggressive empath, an empath bred for war. One other trait is the El-Aurian's sense of time. His race perceives time in a totally different way than normal humanoids, often making them capable of sensing changes in the space-time continuum. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Chiellon makes great use of the empathic abilities he inherited as an El-Aurian, it gives him advantages in conversations, combat and all kinds of everyday situations. Chiellon is a quick, but careful, thinker and like's to socialize. But he can be a bit distant at times. El-Aurian's often have a quick mind paired with quick hands. Chiellon is an excellent shot and has quick hands to work his enemies to the ground. Years of experience on the front lines against all kinds of enemies make him a formidable opponent. Weaknesses: Chiellon can sometimes suppress his emotions to such a degree that they are hard to read by others. This can be frightening to some people, as they have difficulties seeing him as an role model or take readings of his emotional state, being the ship's Captain - this could pose some difficulties. Chiellon's not an overall strong person and knows this, his light build is not made for physical prowess - yet he's quick on his feet and quicker with his mind. One last thing: Chiellon hates to waste time and can get quite frustrated if force to do so. |

| Ambitions | Chiellon's ambition was to be a doctor, help people, gather knowledge about other species and contribute to the medical world. These ambitions changed over time as he grew towards a command of his own. Now he falls in the routines of traditional El-Aurian's: teaching, training and leading - whether this is a marine unit in combat, some nurses in a sickbay or officers on the bridge of a starship. It's natural for El-Aurian's to have changing ambitions as they age, most start off like Chiellon - wanting to learn. But as they become older, they grow more into leading and educating their peers. Chiellon's ambitions will probably change again, as time moves forward - for an El-Aurian, he's considered rather young. Time will tell what lies on the horizon. |

| Hobbies & Interests | Chiellon doesn't have a lot of hobbies, but he practices the ones he has with enthusiasm. He's into flying, likes to practice marksmanship on the holodeck and can often be found golfing. When he has the time, he often throws flying and shooting competitions on the holodeck against fellow crewmates. He used to be not much of a pilot, but years of practice and real-life experience has given him a solid advantage over the more talented hot-shots. As said, a favorite hobby of Chiellon is to play golf with the XO - of course outside the holodeck. It started off as a silly game aboard the USS Constance, where he played numerous games a week against the ship's Captain in Engineering, but developed into a tradition aboard both the Archer and USS de Ruyter. Chiellon and Alan can be found wrecking havoc in engineering at least once a week. |

| Personal History | Chiellon Nerevaryn was born on the El-Aurian homeworld, several thousand light-years from Earth, in the year 2245. Chiellon's childhood, as a member of a small community, was rather uneventful. He listened to the stories of travelers passing by, lore of distant worlds and gigantic battles between the stars. Chiellon's adventurous spirit took the upper hand and he decided to join his world's space corps at the age of 18. Chiellon graduated on 18th of December, 2265. The memory is, to this day, still vivid in his mind. He stood on the promenade of a Promo-Class battlecruiser, eagerly awaiting his scroll of graduation, when all of the sudden several Borg Cubes emerged from transwarp near his homeworld. The El-Aurian fleet fought a hopeless cause against the Borg and 97% of the El-Aurian race ended up assimilated. The survivors fled the battle, retreated in all directions, seeking refuge among countless other races. Chiellon's freighter, containing him and fifty others, where hurled into a transwarp conduit. They managed to redirect the conduit and emerged a few hundred light-years from the Sol System, which according to the El-Aurian Database, held a compassionate species know as Humans. With no warp-drive and communications systems, they laid in an impulse course for Earth, a journey which would take several years. After two years of travel the freighter was found by a Vulcan science vessel and escorted to Earth. The Federation adopted the handful of El-Aurian's, and dispatched numerous ships to look for more survivors. Chiellon and a few others went along as passengers aboard a deep space starship, the USS Damien, to localize more homing beacons. The Damien was equipped for a five year deep space mission, but the search was futile. Space was big and survivors could be anywhere in the four Quadrants. After a three years search, the USS Damien returned to Earth empty handed. Back on Earth, Chiellon heard about the incident with the two El-Aurian Refugee transports and the USS Enterprise-B. Chiellon had learned a lot about the human race in those three years. He found their obligation for helping others a quality he had never seen before and would probably never see again, in any race. Starfleet had officially made the El-Aurian's part of the Federation and Chiellon applied to Starfleet to learn more about this part of the Galaxy. Chiellon had a major advantage over his fellow cadets. Racial traits like emphatic abilities, wisdom and patience, made him an excellent student. Knowing he had a lifetime ahead of him, and not the privilege to learn one subject for decades like on his homeworld, he decided to study as much as possible. His adventurous spirit took the upper hand again and he made the decision to apply to Starfleet's Marine program. Chiellon felt at home between the Marines, he wasn't treated special, nor unique, he was treated like every other marine, ready to die for the cause. Eventually, after a course of two years, Chiellon graduated as a Marine with outstanding grades. Tensions with the Klingon Empire where on the rise and Chiellon applied to the USS Damien again. The year was 2273. Refitted from a deep space vessel to a sturdy warship, the Damien was send out to patrol the Klingon/Federation border. Chiellon participated in numerous ground skirmishes against the Klingons, as well as boring raids. He lead a brutal boarding party against a Klingon D95 Cruiser in the following year. Although a mere private, Starfleet saw the potential of the El-Aurian-racial traits take the upper hand after all those years. They saw Chiellon making a brilliant tactical maneuver in which he took control of the D95 with only 25 men. The Damien didn't survive the war, although it didn't last longer than a week, the Damien and several other Federations ships were destroyed. Chiellon, who survived because he was aboard a D95-Cruiser, was shipped back to Earth and promoted to Lance Corporal. The year was now 2276, Chiellon had reached the age of 30. He got contacted by a fellow El-Aurian by the name of Marec. Marec had the bold plan of returning to the El-Aurian Homeworld and scout the system and planet for the Borg. Starfleet was unwilling to help, claiming the Borg still owned the region and a journey of 3566 light-years was too far for a mere scouting mission. Marec convinced Chiellon and they loaned a Raven Class survey runabout, stacked it with supplies and plotted the journey. They both knew that the roundtrip would take 15 years. The journey was long, hard and everything except uneventful. Chiellon returned to Federation space after a 17 year journey. He had encountered dozens of new species, laid several First Contacts and made it to El-Aurian only to find it swarming with Borg activity. Chiellon found others of his race, made a small crew, expanded the runabout three times the size and made it the last of the El-Aurian explorer ships. Marec did not make it back to Earth, he got assimilated in a rescue attempt to free fellow Aurian's from the Borg. News of Chiellon's crew spread like the wind through the Federation. He and his crew got applications from dozens of institutes, academies and even starships. The year was 2293. Chiellon saw the S.S. El-Auran be stripped apart piece by piece by the Federation, claiming every Gamma-Quadrant technology. Although there wasn't much for he had mainly abided by the Prime Directive concerning stealing other races technology. Chiellon had a career move to decide. After spending 2 years getting his life sorted and protecting his crew he finally reapplied to Starfleet. This time he used his racial wisdom, instead of his adventurous spirit, and applied to Starfleet's Medical School. A move that would change his life forever. Starfleet made good use of Chiellon. After graduating, in the year 2298, they pulled him out of Medical School and gave him the opportunity to learn how to be a Combat Medic and Field Medic, since he was a former Marine. Chiellon accepted and entered the unique course that took 4 years to complete. After that he re-entered Medical School to learn Exobiology, Aliennology and Planetology and other Advanced Medical studies. He graduated as a fully fledged Marine Combat Field Medic and Doctor-graded scientist in the year 2307. Chiellon served as Medical Officer aboard the USS Sarafina for 2 years, Field Medic on Starbase 567 for 4 years and finally became a teacher at Starfleet Academy's Medical School in the year 2313. Chiellon remained a teacher on Starfleet Academy for over 34 years. He taught Marine Group Tactics, Medical Study and Basic Exploration. Chiellon got pulled out of his three-decade routine when he heard terrible news about his home world. A band of El-Aurian's had tried to retake their home world from the Borg. The band failed and no one survived, 400 El-Aurian's died. Chiellon realized that those men and women made a final attempt to secure his race and that it would probably never happen again. He took a three year refreshment course with the Marines and applied to the USS Constance, an Excelsior Class, in the year 2350. By now, Chiellon was 105 years old. Chiellon took on multiple jobs, shifting from one position to another; seeing the ship get pounded, destroyed and replaced over 15 years of service. The year 2365 was the Constance's final refit; she had been promoted to a Nebula Class with Marine troop-pod. Chiellon served aboard the ship as Chief Medical Officer and Chief Combat Medic throughout the Dominion Wars, which started in the year 2373. The Constance was involved in numerous brutal ground assaults during the war, and it was here that Chiellon learned how hard and devastating the life of a Combat/Field Medic was. In the final assault on a Jem'Hadar outpost on the surface of moon in spatial grid 678, Chiellon was forced to lead his battalion, of which he gained command due to the fact the CO got KIA, to the enemy encampment. Outmanned and outgunned Chiellon was ordered to send his men to their deaths; trying to take the post, and he hopelessly treat them as the unit's Doctor while add it. Returning to the Constance defeated and slaughtered, Chiellon had the privilege of ending his part in the war and service aboard the Constance after being with her for 25 years. The Dominion Wars ended a month later. Chiellon returned to Earth and took all the leave he could muster. He parted from Starfleet for 7 years. Chiellon returned to Starfleet in 2382, his 136th year in this galaxy. Still in the same shape as he was during his twenties, he felt alive again, reborn. He applied to the USS Gladiator and got accepted as Temporarily Chief Medical Officer. That position was a short one though, and had the 'tag' temporal for a reason. Not soon after his acceptance, Chiellon, got pushed into Command School. Starfleet saw the El-Aurian potential, and what it could do as a Commanding Officer. Chiellon was given his first command not long thereafter, but it turned out to be a very brief command. His ship, the USS Cutlass, did not even leave the Earth Dry-docks. Sabotage during construction had made the ship a threat to its crew. After two days of service the Cutlass was decommissioned, Chiellon lead the investigation for several months but no suspects was found. Saddened by his first loss, Chiellon petitioned for a second Command, that of the USS Archer. The Archer, a brand new ship, was in need of a Captain as it awaited its final touches above Mars. Chiellon captained the Archer for over 2 years and lead her onto several missions deep into the Beta and Delta Quadrant. The Archer and most of its crew eventually moved on without Chiellon. A new opportunity arose, as Chiellon was presented the command of the USS de Ruyter. A diplomatic frigate. Chiellon reluctantly let go of the Archer and moved to de Ruyter, taking an experienced bridge crew with him. |
