Yertu is lightyears in diameter, holding resources that could save the failing Star Empire; but is it worth the myth? Legends place Borg, Breen and even the fabled Species 8472 inside the bowls of Yertu. Is this a race to secure the Romulan's? Or a race for the very survival of de Ruyter's crew?
The USS de Ruyter has been picked, being one of the latest and fastest ships in the fleet, to explore the vast realm of Yertu. Inside is a new world, a new dimension - Nebula's in nebula's, phenomenon's destoring the very fabric of time.. -
Episode II: Realm of the Damned

The USS de Ruyter is dead in space, fluidic space - to be exact. With the main power offline and backup not responding, the crew isn't even sure they can get life-support online. Fluidic space is composed of matter, spanning thousands upon tens of thousands light-years - with no natural resources, planets or any life beyond the pinnacle of evolution: Species 8472. With no power - and no knowledge on how to open the quantum singularity from this side - the USS de Ruyter has no choice but to head out there and explore; and hopefully find a way home.
Their main objective still stands. It is imperative that the USS de Ruyter finds a way to seal the quantum singularity created by the Romulan's in the Nebula of Yertu - it is only this way they can stop the Species from launching an all out assault on the powers of the Alpha en Beta Quadrant. -

The USS de Ruyter has been found, after being declared lost with all hands almost three years ago. In 2387, the de Ruyter was in transit to the UPF border to settle a conflict between two clashing factons - but she never arrived. The crew appears to be stuck in warp, living the 25 hours of travel time over and over again - for the last three years - and they seem to be unaware, forgeting their experiences, knowing no tomorrow nor yesterday.
It is now 2390, a small Science Team lead by Sasha Harper has found the de Ruyter's repeating warp voyage and prepares to penetrate the timevortex to enter the ship and break the crew from their temporal nightmare.
