THE ROAD SO FAR..

OOC: Before you all start singing: "Carry on my wayward son.." I would like to use this short post to bring everyone up to date on what has happened so far. I will do this periodically so it keeps a pace in the story.

What has happened so far in: Episode IV: Dip.. Diplomac.. Firing Phasers!

It all begin with the huge introduction post in which we creep up on the border of Federation territory, a long long way from home. The de Ruyter has been given a top-secret mission, and the entire crew (except a few key figures) really know whats going on. Everyone wonders why we're out here.

Pretty soon we come up on a solar system that has recently developed warp technology. The plan is to find out how they got it! Since a neighboring alien race developed it around the same time - an astronomical slim chance of happening.

"To be blunt, Starfleet has send us to the ass-end of Federation Space to stop two genocidal factions from pulling Federation worlds into their bloodshed." - Chiellon from a post.

The de Ruyter enters the Amarinian Solar System to go in covertly, but Amarinia is under siege from the other aliens. Their technology is not match for the de Ruyter, yet the cloak fails and the ship is discovered. We try not to fight the aliens and hide in low orbit, around a moon. The Science department investigate unusual energyreadings from the warp-drives of the aliens.

Meanwhile: Ilena d'Artois and James Anatas are beamed from the observation lounge. Who else is missing?
